1. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling or receiving services from Wag and Bag, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Scoop Lovers offers dog waste removal services on a scheduled basis as agreed upon at the time of sign-up. Services include, but are not limited to, waste pickup, disposal, and yard checks for pet waste. Any additional services must be requested in writing and may incur additional charges.

3. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure the effective provision of services, the customer agrees to:

Provide Wag and Bag access to the property at the scheduled time of service (e.g., unlocked gates, no aggressive pets present).

Notify Wag and Bag of any special instructions or hazards on the property (e.g., holes, broken fences, or other dangers).

Keep pets restrained or indoors during service to ensure the safety of Scoop Lovers staff.

Ensure the area is free from non-pet-related obstructions that may hinder service.

Failure to provide access or maintain a safe environment may result in a missed service, and fees for the missed service may still apply.

4. Scheduling and Cancellations

Regular Scheduling: Services will be provided on a recurring schedule as agreed upon at sign-up.

Cancellations: Customers must provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or reschedules. Failure to provide notice may result in a full-service charge.

Weather Conditions: Services may be delayed or rescheduled due to severe weather conditions. Customers will be notified of any changes to the schedule.

5. Payment Terms

Billing: Payment for services is due in advance or on the agreed-upon schedule. Late payments may result in service suspension.

Refunds: Refunds are not provided for services already rendered. Any refunds for prepaid services will be at Scoop Lovers discretion.

Additional Fees: Additional charges may apply for excessive waste, large yards, or other extraordinary conditions not covered under the standard service agreement.

6. Limitations of Liability

Service Quality: While Scoop Lovers strive for excellence, we cannot guarantee complete waste removal in cases of excessive debris, overgrown grass, or unreported hazards.

Property Damage: Scoop Lovers is not responsible for any incidental damage to property caused by pre-existing conditions, unreported hazards, or circumstances beyond our control.

Health and Safety: Our staff will make every effort to ensure a safe and thorough service. However, customers acknowledge that pet waste can carry bacteria and other harmful pathogens. Scoop Lovers is not liable for any illnesses or injuries resulting from exposure to pet waste on the property.

Force Majeure: Wag and Bag is not liable for service disruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

7. Customer Conduct

Customers must treat our staff with respect. Aggressive, inappropriate, or abusive behavior will result in immediate termination of service without refund.

8. Service Termination

We reserve the right to terminate services at any time due to:

Non-payment or late payment of fees.

Unsafe working conditions.

Violation of these Terms of Service.

Other reasons at Wag and Bag’s discretion.

Customers may terminate services at any time with written notice of at least seven (7) days. No refunds will be issued for unused portions of prepaid services.

9. Changes to Terms of Service

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Indemnification

Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scoop Lovers, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from:

Use of services.

Failure to comply with these Terms of Service.

Negligence or misconduct by the customer or their pets.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of San Diego County, California.

12. Referral Program

Scoop Lovers may modify or terminate the program at any time. Previously earned rewards will still be honored. Fraudulent activity (e.g., fake accounts, self-referrals) will result in disqualification.
